SAAB- beyond the convertional means Team Beechdale Saab. A dealership specialised in SAAB cars is taking on the big boys, they are running cars in the same class as the likes of Ford, Toyota, Mitsubishi and Subaru. Here is an fine example of how much it would cost to run three cars (not counting the cost of the cars), Food and lodging for a team of 34 people including management and drivers is estimated at about £10K per day during testing. It is the sole job of Mike Wood to come up with the fund, luckly STORA and SAAB Sweden was impressed with the enthusiasm and provided the fundings for the three cars. Son David, Per Eklund and Kjell Olofsson completed the driver setup. You see, it can be done if you try hard enough. We will be monitoring and keeping this team up to date on this page for the coming months. |

1998 additions... Commercial break! The newly developed race water pump will be installed in the 1988 rally car, which we believe the will complete the package ready to challenge the mighty works rally car which are all equipped with water injection, thanks to the new WRC ruling. This car will be running our system2s water injection system, a completely independent addition on top of the OE engine-ECU supplied by SAAB Sweden. |
