View Full Version : Ideal jet location?

Hi all, long time no post, but I have a teeny tiny question to ask.

Got a Peugeot 306 Turbo Diesel to fit WI to and wondered what the best location of the jet is. A picture of the inlet manifold is here:

Inlet is from the intercooler flange top left (Oval hole) and ignore the EGR pipe flange underneath it - it's going.

On the left hand radiused curve is a flat land 25mm wide - I was thinking here, pointing straight along the plenum - thoughts?

I believe spraying the water directly against the air flow will help considerably with good distribution.

How about individual nozzles in the runners? Spraying directly towards the intake valve or at the runner inlet?

I`ve just gone direct port due to having a "log" manifold, worth the extra effort for me. You can always try the single jet first and then go for port injection later if needed.
