Hello there,

My name is Ming living in holland.

I am now installing the HFS6 and got a question. I am installing on an Evo 8 and getting confused.

Looking for the connection yellow plug red wire to +pin injector on my ecu is injector 1= pin 1 / inj. 3= pin 2 / inj. 3= pin 14 / inj 4= pin 15. this one i have found.
But wich pin is the negative - for these injectors?

And wich pin is for the MAP or MAf signal?
Is this the sam as air flow sensor on pin 90?

All four injector wires are negative switching. So pick any one you prefer.

On the EVO there are no MAP sensor so you leave it out. MAF is more similar than IDC so you leave that one put also. Just following the diagram as published.

Hai Richard,

Then I made a mistake. I have put the red wire on the ecu pin 1 of injector 1.

So green wire must be on pin 1 of the injector.

And red on ecu pin 12 of power supply?

And I am running a motec m800 ecu and the mechanic have replaced the MAFbox for a 5 bar MAPsensor on my evo insted .
Does this mean I do not connect the bleu wire?

Sorry for these maybe noob questions, but the mechanic who has instald the last upgrades is not working at the shop anymore. So I have to do installing by my own.

Are ypu not following the wiring drawing? The drawing is very clear ion where the red amg green wire should. It is really not that complicated, only to wires to connect to the ECU.

Thanks Richard,

The mechanic who used to install the upgrades made a mess of it. He has stripped the whole inside of my evo :-( and some of the parts where missing included the drawing.
I just found a pdf on the site so I just print it out.

Its because I have read the install instructions last year. So I got some in my memory how to install the HFS6.

But I couldn't remember the right color so made the mistake. The install is not online yet in my evo so this weekend going further with the install.

I post some pictures when the install is done.

Hai Richard,

Thanks for the layout. I got it now dowloaded and sved on my own pc.

I have the ECBS of Perrin. Is this the same as the mac valve?
