View Full Version : Not Injecting?

I am new to this water injection idea. I recently purchased an 06 R53 with HFS-6 already installed. While driving the Bargraph doesn't change. I completed a manual test and it sprays fine. The Bargraph shows it is spraying during manual test. The "B" is not lighting up while driving so it isn't falling in the fail-safe window. If anyone can help me out that would be much appreaciated.

Is the green f-IDC light inside the controller flashing while the car it running?

Is the THRES pot set low enough for the car to inject while driving?

Yes the f idc light is flashing while running. the thres position wasn't changed and it was working fine at one point. it shouldn't have changed i haven't played with any of the adjustments.

What's the SN of the kit? This will be on the FCM int eh engine bay.

Can you put the "PRK" jumper link to TST and see if the system is spraying? Make sure the engine is running to avoid hydrolock - only do it a few seconds a time.

I checked for leaks and tightened everything up so now the bargraph works. when i drive it the pump makes a clicking sound like it is trying to spray. when placed in tst mode while running everything works. pump sounds normal bargraph reads correctly.

Thanks for the update. Whatever you have tighten seemed to have done the trick.

In Utah spraying meth can be effective, do you notice the difference with meth on and meth off?

Do you know what the clicking sound is? it doesn't sound good... I've never ran it without i am afraid of ruining something. im running 100% in the rmw stroker. i love it!

Where is the pump mounted?
