Got around to road testing to set the lower failsafe today.I had the two jets under the drivers wiper blade, so I could see it spray. It started to spray before I had even got on boost.I stoped and turned the Thres pot clockwise. It did better.I ended up with the adjustment all the way clockwise and it still starting to spray at only a few pounds of boost.I need to get it where it starting at around 10psi or so.So what needs to be done to get me there.Starting at 3lbs of boost is a bit too early.

Thanks, Philip

I cannot remember.

I have some questions

1. Are you using large injectors
2. Are they low impedance injectors?
3. What is the maximum duty cycle seen at WOT

I think there is some IDC signal mis-matching.

They are stock low imp injectors.I had sent the controller to Jeff, whom I purchased the kit from, to modify the board for the injectors.I have just got it back from Jeff and was trying to get the defauts set when I noticed how early it was spraying.I called him, and he told me to turn the THRES clockwise to get the system to start later. It is turned full clockwise now and is starting to inject at about 3lbs of boost instead of around 10 where I want..

I need a bit more information from you please.

Which harness are you using to pick up the injector signal?

I am running the green harness that is connected to the + and - of the #1 injector, at the ECU.

One more question, what is the serial number of the controller?

Philip Martin

Thank for the serial number. We have had a couple of updates since then. Is it possible you can send me the controller for checking. I think something is making the detection circuit read to high.

I will pm you the address to ship the unit. USPS is quite good.

Sure, whatever it takes to get it working.Any chance to get a replacement for mine so I don't have to wait?Thats alot of ground to cover from here to you, then back again.

Thanks, Philip

We can do it this way but you need to pay for the replacement until we have established the problem is not originated from the factory. The controller is over a year old. I will pm you the details.
