Perrin PW2 System Issues

hi folks

i have a Perrin PW2 System from Richard and recently had the car off the road for a month due to engine build for forged internals.

got the car back and now the water injection system isnt working at all.

pump wont turn over at all.

took the pump casing off and no rust on the top of it, unlike the last time that richard you will probably remember on my 207 GTI.

its going back to garage tomorrow to investigate, hoping its just a wiring issue like the ground wire not connected properly.

but if its the pump again, is this common when not using for a period of time?

could i upgrade to the aquamist pump http://www.aquamist-direct.com/806-582-replacement-160psi-water-pump-for-hfs-2-3-4-6/ with the wiring setup for the Perrin PW2 System thats using a DDS3 V10 junction box?

The kit PWI was supplied a good five years ago to a previous owner as an experiment for DI application, I believe we did not charge him. He did purchase the DDS3v10.

I don't understand the reason for the system not to work after a period of no usage. It happened before and I will supplied you with an replacement at pump at cost price. Unfortunately, that was the last one. It worked for over a year.

I think you should consider investing on one of the current system.

yeh am looking at doing that richard, what prices we talking and whats main differences between the ones available at present?

I will contact you this week regarding a replacement system. Most probably a HFS3.
