Well, thus far I have used it as:
1) A water/methanol controller, metering fluid via a solenoid value based on RPM and boost pressure.
2) A VNT controller, varying the vacuum to the waste gate based on RPM and boost.
3) An external waste gate controller, working in conjunction with the ECUs VNT control to prevent over boost spikes and relieve excessive exhaust manifold pressure.
There is just so much fun to be had :)
