Hi! I've got an injector system with low impedance injectors with resistor pack. Did the low impedance mod on the board and took wiring injector + and - straight from a injector wire next to injector plug and green wire (USER) is plugged. The system seems to work ok, but is the IDC to spray relation now what is expected as this is not a peak&hold system?

You have two options:

1. Green wire of the grey harness to injector (-). Red wire a switched 12V (not at the resistor pack). This is to assume the peak and hold circuit is not actived due to the resistor pack.

2. Red and green wire of the green harness to the two pin of the fuel injector. Regardless of the peak and hold activation.

Either should work.

Ok thanks, it's working as meant. So is it so that with option 1 this board mod (soldering link + cutting connection) is unnecessary in case of low impedance injectors and resistor pack?

In the HSF 2/3 instructions (page 22) there is a text:

"THE HSF-3v2 AND FUEL INJECTOR SIGNALS

The factory controller is set to read conventional high impedance fuel injectors commonly used on most fuel injected vehicles over the last 20 years.

CONFIGURING THE HFS-3 FOR OTHER TYPES:

You need to be able to solder or purchase the system from Aquamist dealers who can perform this task competently. Please contact us for advice first. We do no charge for this service but you need to pay the forward and return shipping charge.

...

The soldering work is not difficult but will require some skill as the modification is very small.

Basically two options. #1 for "low impedance injectors" and #2 for all "Direct injection equipped engines. ..."

So option #1 in this scenario means soldering a link (CUST) and cutting a link on the board as is stated in the instructions. And this means that the green harness is used.

So if I understood right, when using only the grey harness connections as you said (without the green harness which I'm using) this solering work is unnecessary when using low impedance injectors + resistor pack (not a peak-hold system)? If so, it could be reasonable to clarify instructions with this respect.
