On VWvortex, a member put out a call to test some nozzles with his flow system he built. I had nozzles sitting around not doing anything, so I sent him all of the nozzles I had. This is the thread where he posted his results. I must state that I was in no way compensated for the test, I sent the nozzles at my cost, so I have nothing in the game but recently used nozzles, half with 4mm hose left attached, and a $20 bill on my credit card.

Understand that most if not all are used nozzles, and as the thread says some of them are likely very old.

Interesting study.

The results were quite acceptable in relationship to the uncompensated flow rate.

Out of ignorance, what do you mean by uncompensated flow rate?

We stop publishing raw flow data because it can be misleading. There is no circumstance a nozzle is used without some kind of control system. There are factors such as valves dynamics, kinks, flow sensor and inline filters etc that will cause pressure drop or restrictions along the delivery path. Nozzles also under go new development to improve droplet size, spray angles etc also affect the final flow.

Every systems come with a user manual that has its own flow chart match to the supplied nozzles.

For those who wish to use the aquamist nozzle for their own system need to make a flow test to establish the actual flow. It will only take one minute.
