BMW 335i HFS-3 power problem

Hello Everyone,

I bought a used kit and want to know if i got ripped off.

I have a hfs-3v2 and i started to hook up everything. I have hooked up everything except the ecu/user plug. I wanted to know if the unit should be on? for example the lights on the gauge.

I have power at the power plug.

12v red
Ground - black and white
12v head lamp switch- purple

Does that mean i need to have but a new box unit?

Did you hook up the red wire of the Grey harness according to the 335i wiring diagram we on this site? It is for the HFS4 but it is the same.
