Hello All,

I have a quick noob question for you, I've spent about 45min or so searching and looking through the forum for information on scroll jets, but couldn't find anything specific.

What are scroll jets? How are they different to other jets?

Thanks in advance.

The scroll describes the spiral groove of the insert inside the jet covering flow range between 65-650cc/min. The large jets have 5-scroll or 5-grooves. Smaller ones are 3-grooves.

Vivid is no longer our dealer from August. If you wish to make a purchase, go to: http://www.aquamist-direct.com/806-3xx-0-4-to-1-2mm-atomising-jet-for-4mm-hose-r/

Thanks Richard, a wealth of information as usual. So the number of scrolls is irrelevant where the flow rate is quoted.

Are there any other distributors that are in Australia?

The depth of the scroll/orifice ratio is important to achieve the best atomisation for a given flow. We can also use the scrolls to alter spray angle and pattern.

We don't have any official distributors in Australia.
