Hi I am thinking of venturing into watermeth side of things, but frankly I know very little about it. Can anyone shed light on whether a kit would fit the application on BMW 320d ed? anything I might need to look into? say for instance any remap or other hardware would be prerequisite before installing water meth? the car is stock at the moment, at least on the engine side of things;)

Cheers

For diesel engine, adding wmi will make power almost instantly without tuning. Diesel just loves any form of fuel. It is similar to adding nitrous to gasoline engine.

It is important to regulate the amount of flow and keep the methanol percentage below 50% for minimise the onset of detonation. Ideally, wmi flow should mirror the fuel flow instead of boost because boost comes on full at very light load.

Yes, the HFS4 will work with your car.

Hi, I've just fitted a 1S system to my e60 530d with 0.5mm nozzle 100% water. The engine max boost is 1.65bar. I set the 1S pressure switch at 1 bar. Immediately ran a dyno and power drops. Any advise?

You need some meth in the mix
