View Full Version : use the intercooler water spray tank on sti7 ?

hello !

i've bough a subaru sti 2002 which have a manual intercooler water spray (with a level alert on dash board)..so, can i use the IC water spray tank which is to the rear of the car for my 2d system without priming pump if i place the aquamist pump into the engine bay area ?

You can actually use the priming pump to feed the aquamist pump. The hose from the tank is just by the firewall area.

You can activate the primine at the same time as the aquamist pump by a priming pump driver from ERL (free).

You will need to pm me your address and I will make you a relay driver to power you priming pump as the maion pump is active.

Get a DDS3 unit, the priming pump driver is in built see below:
