Thanks for posting the manifold info, it was a long typing exercise.
The increase in idle must be due to increase air speed (ram effect) of the longer pipe. It is very effective since the 4-valve per head engines always suffer from poor mid-range torqure. Can you post some power plot of the two arrangments? It will be very interesting to see the comparison. May I also ask you to post me the temperature logging data - or even charted. It will match the video nicely. |
