Air in the lines
So Im having an issue where I'm building up air in the lines or tank. If I manually operate the system and push the air out it works for a few days with full bars but then eventually drops bars, and then no bars. I have to repeat the process every other day. My tank is not vented so I'm not sure where the air is entering.

Is the air in the 6mm or the 4mm line?

I'm not sure, but I believe it's the 6 mm line since its affecting the flow sensor readings. My pump is also mounted upside down, would this affect it?

The only place where air can be sucked in has to be the inlet side of the tank. If you do not have a vent hole in the tank, the water/methanol cannot come out of the tank as the vacuum builds up internally.
Put a small pin hole about 1mm on the cap and tell me if it solves the problem. |

I Put a hole in the cap, there also is a rubber seal on the cap that I didn't drill through, but it's still the same.

It sounds like you have a leak pre-pump. Can you post a picture of the tank/pump setup?
The suction of the pump is strong enough to pull the air in. Re check the lines/filters from the tank to the pump. |

Does it make a difference if the tank is full or half empty? You could have a sloshing problem. Air doesn't always pass through the pump, but will sit in the head and cause issue for a while.
Is the fitting on the tank leaking air in under suction? |

I haven't noticed if the tank level makes a difference I will check that tonight, I will also cut and try to re seal the fittings on the pump. If you noticed, the pump is also mounted upside down on the tank, I'm not sure if that would cause an issue or not.

Do you have a filter between the tank and the pump?

Is the air in the upstream of the FAV?
Check the inlet hose of the pump is not under and stress due to tight bends. Air bubble can only be created on the inlet side of the pump. the outlet side will only product puddles. |

I can't find any leaks or anywhere that air would be getting in through the inlet of the pump, so before moving on down to the fav, I'm wondering if my bend from the tank to the pump may be too much of an angle. Here's a pic.
http://i930.photobucket.com/albums/a...b/c07e2113.jpg Also when I manually activate the pump and watch the flow meter, it shows full flow, half flow, quarter flow and bounces around till the pump runs for about 15 seconds it holds full bars. I take it for a drive and it shows full bars and with every pull it drops bars till I have nothing again. |

Air has to come in from somewhere. Bubbles will not form in the absensce of air.
Q1 Can you sse where the bubbles starts? Q2 Can you see them at the outlet of the pump? Q3 Is the fitting on the inlet of the pump sealing properly? Q4 Can you take a picture of the inlet fitting of the pump? |

I can't see since since my lines are black, I'll double check the fittings.. I noticed some reside on the inlet as outlet fittings, could this be not sealing properly?

The o-ring shoild not be seen between the fitting and the pump body. It looks the inlet is show part of the o-ring. If so, tighten the mertal fitting futer into the inlet of the pump until the o-ring disappears. Perhaps a little bit of clearing first may help.
