Gauge damage, possible other effects?

I was trying to troubleshoot an issue where the W.Inj LED on my gauge would stay dimly lit. Apparently it has happened before and I was advised to check a surface mount resistor on the gauge board. In doing so, I attempted to reflow the solder and completely screwed up by dismounting the resistor and promptly loosing it. The system appears to still work but now the W.Inj LED is continuously out, but no real issue with that as the water level LED comes on with failsafe anyway.

One behaviour I have been seeing looking at logs, is when the failsafe trips, the failsafe voltage on the map switch wire drops to zero like it should, and the gauge LED some on / 'B' goes out indicating the relays are responding properly, but the system keep pumping. Logs show the flow meter records no interruption to flow, and the ground to the pump stays latched until the end of the pull. Is that normal? I though the system stopped injecting on failsafe activation but am not sure.

It would be better if I send you a replacement circuit board since you only recently purchased the system.

The loss of this resistor will not affect the normal operation. Continue using the system until the replacement arrives.
