confused with hsf pcb
Hello
I am a little confused with pcb solderind pads to run x1.5 idc or maybe more (engine setup below) https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4373/...48ca94cb_z.jpg picture taken from this forum but I havethis type of board with no marks like on this one http://i.imgur.com/OgDpY6Q.jpg The second is- I am running 3 (1000cc) jets and user manual suggest to solder 1-2-3 pads to 2-3 is it corect because manual section has doubled chapter #6 but it is pionted on chapter7. Setup is nissan rb26 with 3.4 strocker kit efr9174 2200 bosch injectors at 1.2 bar I have 525 whp and only 48%idc on pump gas |
Re: confused with hsf pcb
I suggest using the x1.5 + the "GAIN" trimmer. Ideally using x2.25 (available on V3.1)

Re: confused with hsf pcb
Solved, this board revision has a jumpers set on opposite
did x1.5 and pad 2-3 solder for 3 jets, seems it flows reasonably but see no power gain(( tested at mustang dyno started at 1.2 bar with gas afr 11.5 , injecting pure ethanol (96% grade) went to 10.5 pulled -10 to 17% of fuel to match11.5 gas afr and no power gain((( added 3-4*, got +10 whp an average, added 5* no luck total timing 18 to 24* with wmi active |
Re: confused with hsf pcb
try adding boost

I noticed power gain on afr12 ,550@1.2 during pump gas run Going to test afr 12 with injection but I`ll have to remove 20-22% of fuel and true gas afr make me scare the jets are 3 x 1mm not 3x1000cc as I posted above |
Re: confused with hsf pcb
perhaps the turbo has reached its peak flow?

Re: confused with hsf pcb
Can you not get methanol?

The next step we will try - get a race gas ron109 and see the diffrenece playing afr and timing at desired boost 1.4 bar -replace alcohol we have now (96% ethyl spirit allowed to food industry from "known guy" ) with methanol from in sealed tank from manufacters (its not easy to get because of the regulations and restrictions) |
Re: confused with hsf pcb
I have spotted a soldering error, can you please correct it.

Re: confused with hsf pcb
Also add solder link MPS to the iDC to obtain 70/30 idc/mps flow progression. this will provide some boost/flow compensation on the system.
