stand-alone flow sensor setup...

Hello, I've asked this via email but never got an answer so I'm trying in here. I want a flow sensor to go with my water injection kit (not aquamist).

I've read on forums that the only reliable sensor was the aquamist... Am I correct in thinking I could get these 2 items and be ok?

If so, does anyone have the linear equation for sensor voltage vs flow?

thank you!

The sensor does not produce a voltage but pulses relative to flow.

Ok thanks,

can you tell me the pulse count vs flow relation then? And if you can, please confirm that the 2 items I've linked would be what I need...

thank you

Is this info available? I'm ready to buy but I would need to know flow vs pulse count...

There are no set values as it's a variable scaler on the gauge.

You can capture the correct scaling based on your applications range yourself with an oscilliscope and using the aquamist flow gauge as a reference.

You will need to tune the vehicle and set the scaler and all settings in the aquamist first. Using that information along with your scope captures, you can then figure out your floor and ceiling parameters for redundancy in the ECU.

Two outputs. pulse (raw)and voltage (user scaled).

The pulse output is approximately 160 pulses per 100cc. More details on page 22 of the user manual.
