VW Scirocco 2.0TSI - HFS4

Hi,

I'm working on finishing my system today/tomorrow. I did K04 conversion on my Scirocco, 2008 year. I will be running as Richard suggested one nozzle for now. I adjusted circuit board and jumpers per Richard schematics.. I'm sending some pictures, I will update when all is done

I will put nozzle after IC. Since I have boost pressure valve on hose after IC shall I put nozzle before or after this valve? Thx a lot Richard for your help

What size jet will you be running post IC.

I'll start from smallest I have. 0.6mm

What should I do with restriction?

If you are only running a 0.6mm nozzle, use the smallest nozzle to keep flow linear.

I've updated first post with pictures on pump location and nozzle location. I had problems setting failsafe. Not sure what I was doing wrong. Here are the steps I did:

1. Priming and purging of the system
2. Test spray pattern and SC setting
3. Activate the system by F-IDC (I've changed THRES to full left, default was 12 o'clock)
4. I've returned THRES to default after I confirmed that amber led responded

Setting Failsafe:

I tried with this guide:

http://howertonengineering.com/tech-...dds3-failsafe/

1. I've changed jumper from DHB to DFS (B letter is always on)
2. Changing WH trimmer doesn't change B letter to to start flashing or to goes off (is this because of DFS jumper?)
3. Changing WL trimmer I didn't notice any difference

After this I returned WL and WH to default 12 o'clock and SC was left at 9 o'clock. Jumper returned to DHB and jumper set to DR1 instead of DR0. I tested car with these settings and I get full 8bar on full throttle. What is it that I'm doing wrong? Thx

1. Running one jet requires changing the flow table (0+1) solder linked.
2. Adjust SC to read 6 bars with 0.6mm jet spray in open air
3. Set WL at 10am and WH at 2pm

With the DR1 linked. Let me know the results.

1. Already soldered.
2. 6 bars with jet in the air+sys jumper, or some other case?
3. Will try and let you know

DR1 is linked at the moment so I adjust SC when DR1 is linked? Do I need to link any other jumper different from factory default? Thx a lot

So I finished with WL between 11 and 12am (closer to 11am). Compared to 10am car goes much smoother. WH is at 2pm and SC is around 1pm (6bars reading). Richard thanks a lot for your support

The WL and WH setting will be unique to your car, so they need to set individually. The bar display gives an visual indication of the "norm". Once set it should not be moved until a change of flow settings.
