In the engine compartment the pump start when I put a wire between the twoo big red wires on the relay but when I want to start with the sys jump she wouldn't start

Re: Pump problem

There is a possiblity the bearing of the pump bearing may have seized due to corrosion from water ingression.

Please take the pump head apart (four long bolts) and examine the internals.

The system is designed for trunk mounted as the water pump is not water proof.

Re: Pump problem

For me it's an electrical problem be aise the pump start when I put 12v direct on the pump or a relay problem???

Re: Pump problem

I hoep it is a electrical or relay problem rather than the pump.

Link the "SYS" to energise the relay, at th esaker time, pull out the "FAV" link to stop it from overheating. Get to the bottom of the relay and bridge the two thick red wires. If the pump comes on, it will be a relay problem. Also check for rely clicking by pulling and re-inserting the relay from the socket.

It is also possible the small wires or connector are corroded, check them. They are not water proof.

If it is a relay problem, we need to find out why it failed, corroded bearing puts undue load on the relay contacts.

Re: Pump problem

It is not a pump problem because when I bridge the red wires the pump start it is maby a problem with the twoo lotte wire the blue and the red or the relay

Re: Pump problem

I think the thin red and blue wire should be on the next checking list.

Re: Pump problem

The relay is good I have test it. The problem is that in the pr? cranck position I have always 12V on the little red wire ( even if the sys is not jump) and 8.8v on the little blue wire.......
