HFS-6 boost compensation future

I have mine hooked up to IDC but, reading the manual it states that it also has boost compensation.
How does it work? How can I take advantage of it while following IDC?

Boost compensation:

If boost signal is available from the factory maps sensor, you can use this signal to offset the drop in spray volume due to manifold pressure increase.

Richard,
My E36 M3 does not have a factory map sensor. Im using the OEM DME for tuning. Would adding a GM 3 bar map sensor do the trick to take advantage of the boost compensation?
I can pick up a 5v signal and hook up the other end of it to the HFS-6.
Would this work while following IDC?

Anyone can answer my question to Richard?

Richard, any luck replying top my post. Is it worth it to add a 3 bar map sensor to my set up?

As long as the span is 5V, any map sensor will work.

Yes, its a 5v map sensor.
I guess my questions is if there is a benefit of using it or not

Richard,
Would I see any performance benefit or not by adding it a map sensor?

Any luck to answer my question. Is it worth it to add a Map sensor, would it add any performance? Seems worthless if you are already following idc
Please let me know

Thanks

If the system is based on IDC, add a map sensor will not be beneficial. If your fuelling is good, the water/meth flow will follow.
