Stupid Question: Meth / Water 50/50 injected after IC

What inherent dangers will I see with this mix. Given that this is prior to the throttle body, prior to the externally venting BOV etc. I've read that a 50/50 mix should not be flammable (well able to sustain a flame anyway) is this correct?

On a WRX with a front mount, nozzle is mounted about 600mm from the throttle body.

Thanks in advance for answering a stupid question.

Brett

Anybody? Richard?

Oh ok I know it is a stupid question.

I have found this thread out there with a few comments in there. I just want to be sure as I really don't want to be running that much of a fire risk under the bonnet ;)

Thanks,

Brett

If you are concern with fire, can you divert the air from the BOV to the underside of the car or return to the inlet tract.

Thanks for the reply Richard.

Here are some photos of the setup.

1. Jet location in relation to the BOV and Throttle Body.

2. BOV and Throttle Body shot. BOV is a dual vent unit that will put most back into the inlet pre turbo and the other is pushed out towards the engine.

The BOV sits under where the scoop is (it is completely open now as there are no under plates needed to divert air to the TMIC anymore). Would this assist in dissipation of the excess mix?

Thanks again.

Brett
