The system you have is a standard HFS4v3.1, not configured from twin-rail. But you can run the system based on boost, would you like me to post a diagram?

Re: Skoda Octavia A7 1.8TFSI 4x4

What should i do to run it like it should be ?

Help me please Richard :(
Should i send board to you, to modify it ?
If yes, just trow me address :)

Re: Skoda Octavia A7 1.8TFSI 4x4

Try this one first, the system will track boost instead of twin fuel rail. Some users have difficulties dialling the fuel tracking version. If you are not happy with the delivery, send the controller back to me and I will converted it for you.

Great, thank you. Will see how it will work.

Re: Skoda Octavia A7 1.8TFSI 4x4

And one question more, should i change any jumper configuration on board?
I see from picture above - P/IR zeroed out for 100% boost control and MPS trigger set on... Any other changes to other side of the board?
Thanks.

Is this correct address to send controller back? In case...

ERL Ltd

F: +44 1273 581555

Re: Skoda Octavia A7 1.8TFSI 4x4

Yes, this is the correct address. I would really think twice before going for the twin fuel rail set up, it is quite tricky. There are substantial modifications onto the circuit board, it is not easily reversible.

It may be but I can not service one customer immediately, I have many other duties.

Have you tried the progressive boost mode before sending the unit back? I have spent a great deal of time making this unique diagram for me.

Please note once this controller is re-configured, it cannot be reversed. Please confirm that is your wish.

Yeah, i've sent you long email with all steps that i did ... It seems smth wrong with board, as it didnt light up the gauge, but still can do sys.test via jumpers ...
And i think we need to check the wiring diagram for this car, its like Pin 6 is not IGN Sw 12V, as it powers on when i open door ...

If conversion will work for this car IDC as mentioned, i cant see why we should not go this way. Is there any other hidden things i need to know ?

Richard L 24-07-2019 08:00 AM

Re: Skoda Octavia A7 1.8TFSI 4x4

it is completely up to you. We have a number of users unable to cope with balancing the two IDC signals from the two rails, once the factoring setting is twiddled. I am sure you like the challenge?

:) Is there any available manuals, how to balancing two IDC signals, i start to realize this is not exactly the same as single signal ?!

Richard L 25-07-2019 07:55 AM

Re: Skoda Octavia A7 1.8TFSI 4x4

There isn't a manual for this. But is quiote simpole, you use the P/I-R trimmer to bias the two signals. Some modifications change the size of the port fuel injectors so the system needs to be trimmed.

LeXcite 25-07-2019 06:55 PM

Re: Skoda Octavia A7 1.8TFSI 4x4

Since we have both stock injectors, it seems there should be no problem :)
So let's go with this challenge ))))

Conditions:

1. I like to have one back if you are not using it.
2. You pay for the shipping of two controlers to Kazakhstan
3. You pay for the return of the one you don't want back to me.

I let me know the issue when I return to office on Tuesday.
