Re: Subaru sti (USDM)

Im installing this on an 04 usdm sti. Could I use the same diagram as the 07 sti or would I have to use the hfs3 diagram for an 04 sti? I also have the hfs4 v3 not v1.

thanks

Yes you can, the H4 and H3 wiring is the same.

Yes it is. You can wire up the IAT into the controller so the system will increase or decrease flow base don the air temperature.

I may need to do a bunch of HFS4-v3 diagram so end user does not miss this useful function.

Do you have a diagram for that? I don't have an added iat sensor put in but I do have the OEM EGT sensor. Also the wiring info to have the car go into limp mode if something goes wrong.

Thanks again,

Re: Subaru sti (USDM)

Im also curious as to how i can wire the 3bar map sensor to the v3? It says only 2.5 and 3.5bar. If i wired the two failsafe wires that require cutting the ebcs wire would i still be able to run a different map and turn meth off or would i need to just use the limp mode wire? I was also wondering the negative wire for injectors just needs to be connected to one right not all 4 thats outlined green in the pic?

Re: Subaru sti (USDM)

If you have a 3-bar map sensor, use the 3.5 option. There is no difference between the 3 and 3.5 in flow but sight difference if you use the MPS trigger option. The threshold trimmer will be slightly lower (counter clockwise).

Read the jumper function of DHB option in the user manual.

Just connect to anyone, not four.
