Is Lubrication needed in a WI mix

I'm concerned about valve guide wear due to the WI remove oil from the vavle stems? Is excessive valve guide wear a problem?

I was wondering the same thing. I wonder if the sureflo pump would have any problems with some kind of lube.

You could always run an upper cyl lube in your gas, I heard stuff with MMT in it provides a protective coating that can protect valve seats.

as an old chevy builder we replaced valve guides with bronze . unless your injection mix contains a HiGH amount of fuel ( in which case you are using it mostly for supplementary fuel addition ) you do not have enough solvent to affect the oiling of the stem/ guide assy. the bronze retained oil better than steel by the way, as well as having superior wear ability in high lift / high spring tension conditions.
