Flow sensor testing

When doing a spray test should the bargraph lit up any leds during testing?
How well the flow sensor should flow when blowing air throuh it with my mouth? It is farely hard to blow but I do feel fibration and hear the sensor rotating. Is that OK? During flow test both jets are spraying fine so the system does flow.

Problem is I get failsafe on boost and can't get any leds lighting up in the gauge bargraph. I've tested different setups with onboard trimmer, thres, gain etc. and was wondering if the flow sensor is bad or not.

Don't blow too hard or you will damage the bearings. If it is rotating, then there should be a display.

Most probably be the yellow harness, the hall effect cable can be damaged if it was plugged into the wring connector.

If it is not sensing flow, failsafe will trip.

Re: Flow sensor testing

1 Attachment(s)
- Iīve had system for years so no wrong wiring setup. After upgrading fueling setup havenīt got it to work.
- Sensor does rotate but no flow is detected at all, not even system test mode.
- According to your descript the flow sensor seem to be OK.
- yellow harness you mean the WFS wire?

The picture shows what the gauge looks during system test.
- no leds in bargraph
- w.injection and water level leds are on.
Is this correct except no flow detected?

What should I check next?

Re: Flow sensor testing

yes.

Suggestions:

1. Check the flowe sensor cable clip is firmly on the flow tube body.
2. Is the "S" led on on the gauge?

Thought I already answered?

1. cable is firmly attached
2. yes I have "S" led.

Re: Flow sensor testing

In that case, it could be a faulty WFS cable (yellow).
