basic mounting question aquamist 2d

I recently got hold of a very nice aquamist 2d system second hand. I have a few questions about the instillation.
This is for a mitsubishi evolution, 2 liter intercooled turbo.

1, when installing the "Manifold Pressure" switch can I tee off the turbo bipass valve hose? or evaporative emission purge... hose? (both hoses exit the manifold area post throttle)

2, one of my mounting plans places the pump, filter,& injectors in a cool area but requires a half hour to get to. (once the engine under cover is remounted) After the system is up and running, how often will I want to
do maintainance on the parts? If I need to check everything out once a week I won't be liking myself.

thanks
bruce

For the boot triggering switch (the one labeled 806-157) yes you can tee into the same intake manifold reference as your OEM bypass valve. If you get inconsistent triggering put a restrictor in the line to the switch.

You should reverse flush the filter about every oil change, cleaning the jet at the same time wouldn't hurt either. Would this level of frequency be a burden?

thank you Ed.

as to the burden, who knows, but I will do it
