HFS-6 Production Status

Is the HFS-6 permanently discontinued or is it coming back at the beginning of the year? I have called a few suppliers up and have gotten an answer for availability as of Jan 1.

Any idea what this really means?

The HFS-6 is officially discontinued. A replacement will be announced around August next year.

The HFS-6 has gone through three minor hardware upgrades, v1, v2 and v3. In order to keep up with the fast pace of direct injected engine technologies and beyond, a major hardware upgrade is necessary.

As you are aware that all our systems track fuel flow so it is paramount the ever complex fuel injector signal is decoded accurately. We believe the fuel signal is the results of thousands of engineering hours, harvesting all the information from multuple sensors such as load, RPM, Air/oil/engine temperatures, throttle position, gear position, road speed, etc etc.

It basically means the HFS-6 requires a total redesign to deal with the next few years before the HFS3-v2 is showing its age (on the second reversion at present to deal with BWN's piezo electric injector).

Are there any spare parts available such as flow control modules or main boards?

Re: HFS-6 Production Status

We have no fully assembled units but we have enough individual component to make most repairs. Fully assembled units deplets spare too quickly.
