"W.Injection" Staying partially lit

Richard, could you take a look at this ? I saw your post below about adjusting FSDL that didn't help in my case. This has been an issue since I got the unit (about a month ago). Temperature doesn't seem to be a factor here. Does it hot or cold. This doesn't impair the unit, everything works like normal. My concern is when the unit is out of warranty and something goes wrong.

Not sure what caused this, Can you disable the failsafe (DFS) ans see if it cures it. Also put duct tape on the back on gauge. Condensation may cause this.

Hi Richard, I don't think its a condensation problem as this has been going on since I got the kit. Out of the box I plugged everything in to see if it was functioning before installing and it was doing that. I'll disable the fail-safe. Could you provide any detail as to why you want me to disable the fail-safe as a test? I did try a brand new gauge cable thinking perhaps a crimp was bad. Same problem.

The top yellow led is solely responsible for failsafe. I doubt failsafe is the cause.

Most likely to be a dry joint. Can you take a Hi-res picture and send it to Richard at aquamist.co.uk I like to examine a few surface mount components.

If I see a suspect joint, can you solder? Just needs re-flowing.

Im assuming you want me to take a high res photo of the back of the dash gauge's circuit board? I can probably re-solder, however will this void the warranty?

Yes, the back of the gauge circuit board. The bezel unscrews.

I will take care of the warranty for you. Provided oyu do drop a big blob of solder onto the circuit board.
