Wiring diagram
In case anyone else is interested, I got this off the North American Subaru Impreza Owners Group (NASIOG).
The RED wire from the FiA2 must go to a 12V source - this can be direct to the battery if you want - but the ignition swith on the ECU is fine. (Pin A5 - Green with Red stripe).
The GREEN wire from the FiA2 must go to the switched ground of any injector from the ECU. (Pin D1 - Pink).
I have checked and there is no inline load resistor on our cars as we have high impedance injectors (a whole 13 ohms!!) - so that other info is not an issue.
Richard was a great help and has answered my emails late at night his time. True customer support.
