Hello from Canada.

First my car, then my issues.

2007 Ford Mustang
stroked and forged 4.9 liter with stage 3 heads.
full bolt ons
D1SC procharger with 800 HP intercooler pushing 20 PSI
Division X 1200HP return style fuel system with ID 1000 injectors

T56 Manual gear box

I installed HFS-3 after I data logged and noticed my IATs were getting up to 186 degrees after a pass a the track in the top of fourth gear.

Adding the kit and installing 2 1mm jets right before the throttle body really helped. I also relocated the IAT sensor into the number 5 intake runner.

IATs dropped to low 100s which is great, but after a month I started getting trouble codes indicating throttle body issues, then the car would not start.

After a lot of trouble shooting I discovered water had gotten into the motor assembly of the throttle body and corroded everything in there...ultimately destroying my throttle body.

Now according to my jet calculations

Injectors are 1000cc x 8 =8000x0.12 (70/30) = 960cc

1.0mm at 140 PSI = 456cc...so times 2 = 900cc approx..

SO I don't think I'm over spraying. I think my nozzle placement may be too close to the throttle body.

can anyone shed some light here to help me? I don't want to wreck another throttle body

thanks in advance

This is where my jets are spraying. this piece bolts onto the throttle body.

Here is the water/meth that has corroded my motor assembly
