Default Re: No Green Flicker

304 is lean bank 4. I'll check voltage at point 8.

Previous interchanges with Jeff H. (Its in reverse sequence):

No. If you put the board in test it should spray. You've grounded the green wire and it sprays. I can't see why it wouldn't work connected to the car. May have to email Aquamist and ask what to try.

It appears everything is hooked up correctly. The only issues are that the green LED does not light or flicker during startup/initialization, under acceleration, not even when feeding a ground to the injector. I could go through manual testing procedures as per set up instructions tomorrow, but I don’t think I’ll learn anything new. I didn’t do any electrical work to the car, it just stopped working. Is there a way to test the board itself? Looks good on a visual inspection, so no obvious burns. Seems like something must have burned out/failed on the board. Any other ideas? Mike

When the Ecu fires the fuel injector it grounds one side. That's all the Aquamist looks for. Tapping it to a ground is theoretically the same thing.

Sounds like it's working. Not sure why the green IDC light won't come on but if you have spray then the system seems to be working. If you tap it real fast you can't get the the light to flash at all? If it sprays like that it should work hooked to the injector too.

You mean the ECM plug green wire that goes to -injector lead?

The test for the controller would be to take green wire of grey harness and tap against a ground and see if the green light on controller flashes.

No. I’ve done nothing to car but change oil/filter for a couple years now.

If the kit is turning on(red wire) and the green is connected right you should get the green flashing IDC light inside the controller unless you've burnt the controller. Did you do ANY work at all recently?

Checked wiring. Green wire to injector was good. Red had a couple frays so I resoldered it. No shorts. 14 ohms across red/green (injector). Any other ideas?

You lost the fuel injector connection. Check your wiring.

No. The yellow light comes on for 5 seconds, goes out, then the “S” comes on solid. No green flicker with RPM, no bars.

"S" light on gauge or all dead?

Sounds like power loss to the gauge. Bad cable? Power loss to the whole system?

Bought HSF4 and 2 gallon tank from you five years ago. ~50K flawless miles. Last week problem started: No bars, no green LED flicker on startup. All other start up indicators normal. Any ideas what to troubleshoot or whats wrong? Thanks. Mike
