Because 1 nozzle should be enough for 450cc/min. Now, 2 nozzles would probably be a little bit better. But by how much? Sometimes more or bigger is not always better.
Also keeping the system as simple as possible improve chances of failure by limiting the total number of components.
When you go above 500hp flywheel then 2 nozzles becomes beneficiary.
