That is only a problem if the aluminum is continuously wetted by the methanol. That sort of issue was seen in carburators converted to run methanol, as the the float bowls were constantly filled with fuel.
No it should not be a problem except for the fuel system itself and the WI system itself that is full of liquid all the time.
Anodized aluminum does not have that problem as I understand it. I am using anodized aluminum AN fittings on my WI system and have seen no corrosion to date.
