Default Re: Mazda / Ford WLT engine

Hi
It's a grey import from Japan to the UK, and then over here.
It's a Mazda Bongo...MPV-cum-camper...very useful, and extra-ordinarily versatile....
I've owned tuned cars and hobby cars in the past, and always looked for the next vehicle...but this is too good to sell
Anyway...back to the question...it's possibly just one of those vehicles that I have...just a niggle with the heat, and dryness...others may be all-right, but somehow I doubt it... they are mid-engined, and I believe that the tortuous induction system from the middle of the vehicle to the intercooler at the front, and back again can't be doing any service. Take a look at these links:

There must be 16 feet of piping in the intercooling circuit, and 7 in the air intake / filter
Some folk have had success with a bigger / more efficient intercooler in the UK, but I reckon it's only scratching the surface, and water injection may REALLY help
Thanks for your thoughts, and any others forthcoming
Cheers
Helzer
