Default Re: compound supercharged engine: where to mount nozzles?

Hi Richard,

yes, please have a look:

http://34plus2.jimdo.com/

a precision 6266 is feeding a roots blower.

it was supercharged before with one intercooler.

now compound supercharged, two intercoolers.

turbo - intercooler - bov - throttle body - blower -intercooler - 2 x plenums (opposed aircooled engine).

1)i was thinking about one nozzle after the first intercooler before the throttle body to cool the blower rotors 50/50 mix meth / water.

2) or just spraying 100% meth 2 nozzles before each plenum. about 10 inch away from the intake valves.

no meth controller.

i may get some kind of heat soaking from the aircooled engine even with the interoolers.

i would like to run higher boost levels up to about 2 bar oder 30 psi.

compound boost usually kicks in instantly when you start hitting the throttle.

each unit runs about 50 to 50. if tjhe turbo has 1 bar, supercharger will multiply it to 2 bar for example.

european pump gas 102 octane will be used.

thanks
