VW MK5 HFS-4 DPI install.
I did some work today and almost finished the aquamist install. Made two brackets for the distribution manifold port that bolted up to the noise pipe bracket on the alternator:
but ended up using this one fav mounted on the engine mount (plastic bracket used to hold the noise pipe) Now I just have to splice some ecu wires and make the final electrical connections and I'm ready to go. |

Re: VW MK5 HFS-4 DPI install.
currently i'm running apr's K04 turbo and tune, but that's a mild safe upgrade for a daily driven car.

Re: VW MK5 HFS-4 DPI install.
Final install pics of my aquamist kit.
2 gallon Tank. It's also mounted to the floor and can be easily moved to access spare tire if needed. Fold the seat and just have to push the tank in. Outlet of the intercooler drilled and tapped. Second pic shows the jet installed. Ecu wires. I stripped the old tape more than enough, but gave me lots of room to tap the wires properly. Once I confirmed all the connections were leak free I installed some protective sleeves over the lines. Have some pics showing how I routed the main feed line from the trunk to the engine bay using the fuel line route, but will upload them later. |

Re: VW MK5 HFS-4 DPI install.
Very nice install. It's always good to see the final results of where all this stuff goes!
