Gauge turns off after car is started
Hey guys,
Just realized after having the system installed and waiting for a tuner, that when I start the car with the system activated via the gauge button, nothing lights up. If I turn the system off when the car is still running, I get the 'water level' light, indicating that the system is off. If I leave the car in the pre-crank position, I can activate the system via the 'sys' jumper to test/purge and all the gauge lights work correctly. All failsafes are bypassed via the jumper. Not sure If I tapped into the wrong wire on the ECU harness, I followed the diagram for the 2011 Subaru STi. Car is a 2013 Subaru WRX STi. Edit: F-IDC Lights work when the system is at pre-crank and when the car is started. The lights blink faster when more throttle is input. 95% Lights at pre-crank as well. Not too sure about the 'thres' lights. Last edited by Gatehouse; 07-06-2014 at 12:29 AM. |

Re: Gauge turns off after car is started
I am having the same problem I think.
If I unplugged the blue harness water level then the gauge would lid up, but if I plug it back on then the gauge would turn off after few seconds. How do I solve this? |

Re: Gauge turns off after car is started
Unplug the level sensor and tell me if it does the same again.

Oh nevermind, I got it working!
Just it took awhile for the water to flow to the other tank (using dual 1 gallon from Jeff) where the float sensor is. |
