Re: Mazdaspeed 3
I have an aftermarket electronic boost control solenoid running in 3-port interrupt mode. It plugs into the stock harness, just like the stock solenoid. The same principles apply when tuning for it, but it requires much less wastegate duty cycle (at least 25% less) than the stock solenoid.
Can I still follow the wiring diagram above? Or does it need to be wired differently? Here is a link to the product and manual: Product: http://www.grimmspeed.com/catalog/pr...roducts_id=194 Manual: https://www.grimmspeed.com/install_g...MazdaSpeed.pdf |

Re: Mazdaspeed 3
Yes, you can continue using the above wiring diagram. We just cut the PWM signal to the BCV. It will work with any valve.
One reason for a lower duty cycle is needed on the grimmmspeed valve is probably due to slightly larger orifice in the ports.

Re: Mazdaspeed 3
im wondering what year mazdaspeed this diagram is for. I have a 2007 and im looking at the ecu connector pinout and it seems slightly different. The #1 fuel injector coil - on the sheet im looking at says its 2BA not 2BB. Is there any way to verify this?
