Default Map switch with onboard relay

Looking to wire up the map switching on my ems 8860 ecu through the aquamist onboard change over relay. I presume I need to use the white and black wires from the aquamist which gives me closed with the gauge off, open with the gauge on and closed with the fail-safe activation? I plan to hook the white wire to the map switching wire from my ecu and put the black to ground.
Here's the diagram for my ecu

There are three wire, white , black and brown. white is common (wiper).

1. Gauge off, system off and failsafe activation: white and black is connected
2. Gauge on, system on: white and brown is connected.

DHB, DFS can further configure the above.

Cheers for the reply. I've had a play around with the multimeter on beep function and the white/black configuration seems to be doing what I need. Will see how it goes once the ecu is powered up with it
