Map switch with onboard relay
Looking to wire up the map switching on my ems 8860 ecu through the aquamist onboard change over relay. I presume I need to use the white and black wires from the aquamist which gives me closed with the gauge off, open with the gauge on and closed with the fail-safe activation? I plan to hook the white wire to the map switching wire from my ecu and put the black to ground.
Here's the diagram for my ecu |

Re: Map switch with onboard relay
There are three wire, white , black and brown. white is common (wiper).
1. Gauge off, system off and failsafe activation: white and black is connected 2. Gauge on, system on: white and brown is connected. DHB, DFS can further configure the above. Do "not" link DR1

Re: Map switch with onboard relay
Cheers for the reply. I've had a play around with the multimeter on beep function and the white/black configuration seems to be doing what I need. Will see how it goes once the ecu is powered up with it
