Correct Check Valve Jet Reassembly
Hello everyone, long time lurker, first time poster. I have a fast question regarding my .4mm check valve jets...
-I converted my intake manifold jets to the 90 degree push lock fittings, before re-installing them I soaked them in warm water with alcohol to clean any debris from the first tank full of water methanol. In doing so, one of the CV jets came apart completely. Can you tell me if I have the correct reassembly orientation in the attached photo? Does anyone have a picture or diagram of the correct CV jet assembly I can reference? I want to make sure I have it re-assembled correctly as my software tune relies on equal flow rates. -Can anyone tell me how to verify what flow rate these .4mm CV jets have? Are there different options for the flow rate within a .4mm CV jet (ie 90cc, 110cc, etc)? Is there a way to rebuild the jet to change the flow (add more flow) so I don?t need to buy all new jets? Thank you everyone! |

Re: Correct Check Valve Jet Reassembly
The 0.4mm CVJ has three options:
A ...... 90cc/min B ...... 110cc/min C ...... 140cc/min I believe yours is 110cc/min.(B-version)

Re: Correct Check Valve Jet Reassembly
Thank you very much Richard, I take the layout very seriously, as soon as I finalize my trunk setup and custom tank from Howerton Engineering I'll share my build thread on this forum with full photos. Thanks to U-20T for the amazing install job.

Just as a reference for all, Richard sent me the CVJ diagram which is great to have on hand. I rebuilt my one jet last night in the correct orientation. The brass spinner at the bottom of the jet (seated against the jet nozzle) was tough to get aligned so that the check valve cylinder can seat properly. Once I got that, the jet went back together and tightened up perfectly. |

Re: Correct Check Valve Jet Reassembly
Did you use the tool that comes with the restrictor set?

Re: Correct Check Valve Jet Reassembly
I did not, I'll look in my parts bin for the restrictors and tool.
