Default Injector size for a modded GT-four

Hello all,

after bigger mod to my engine, I have to modify my WI setup...

First step is to determine the injector number and size...

My fuel injectors are 4 x 1000 cc/min.

I have a system 2c/dds3 with 250cc/min@100psi race water pump.

Thank you in advance.

You may need to increase thew Aquamist setup with a push pump, see the link below:
http://www.aquamist.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=127

If you are planning to run 10% fuel to water ratio, you need to use two 2x 0.5mm jet (about 400 cc/min) or 1x 0.7mm and 1x 0.8mm for ~570cc/min.

Thank you Richard, as usual !!

But I have questions about this fact... let me understand...

1. I am interested in 10% water to fuel ratio, but why are we looking at the total injectors flow capability... that is to say 4 x 1000cc/min = 4000 cc/min ?

Ok, 400cc/min is the 10% of 4000 cc/min...
but the injectors are not going to spray ALL the time, and TOGHETER...

Sorry for the newbie qustions, but I'm trying to understand how to determine in theory the correct water quantity... and yes, sure, after I'll have to dyno it and see if the theory was correct

2. I have a red jet home, but I didn't see in your list a red jet, only a blue/red... so I don't know its flow per minute... maybe it's an old jet of yours...

3. are you selling a priming pump and a pulse extender ? ( I currently am on my cell phone, and I can't open other pages... )

4. Is it better to have 2 x 0.5mm or 1 x 0.7mm injectors ?

4a. Given that I have a side feed intake manifold ( log- style ) I read I'm going to have a bad water distribution in cylindres... correct?
So I'll have to use WI to reduce intake temps, and not knock suppression... correct ?
Then, for this purpose, I am going to put the jet at the ic outlet, 1 meter before the tb...
even for a better water atomisation would be better to have 2 x 0.5mm ?

Thank you very much.
