i'm going to try connecting the black and red wires somewhere else. i'll try the heater fan controls they are on key second position. i'll let you know how i get on

also check the red and green wire of the grey are not reversed at the fuel injector splice.

will do thanks. i have checked these i'll double check again. made the mistake of using a phase tester instead of a multimeter on the green injector wire and engine spluttered a bit (opened injector fully) and getting between 2-4 volts on the blue map sensor (will confirm)
also just to check, what readings should i be getting on the 2 signal points on the pump relay with the sys jumper in and out? meter points: black to earth in boot , red to 2 points or meter points: black to blue , red to red? cheers |

Can you measure pin16 while blipping the throttle.

Hi Richard I swapped the red wire for the controller as you suggested and it worked!!!! System is priming now putting it back together to take it for a spin make sure everything is OK. The wire I used turned out to be the low fuel light wire and wasn't a steady live
