I think 50/50 is good for winter and summer.
Is edc16 (alfa 147 Mjet 15V) a common rail diesel? I like the wiring diaghram also please. It is good information for the future.

Thank you for the diagram, it wil be very useful for the next alfa.
I have a question, I assume both ECUs are for diesel applications. There seemed to be two type of common rail diesel. what is the difference between uni-jet and multi-jet. As regarding the trimmer of the re-configured HFS-6, you con use all the trimmers and scaling options. I just need to match the system to match and read the pulses of the diesel injectors. The pulsewidth is very short. Using water is find but use less due to the higher latent heat value than methanol. The HFS-6 can read the following, but require some signal re-conditioning: - Common rail diesel injector (high rail pressure - most diesel) - Common rail gasoline injector (high rail pressure - VW, Audi, PSA) - Gasoline direct injection with solenoid actuator - Gasoline direct injection with piezo actuator (new BMW) The trend is changing very fast - difficult to keep up with this new Direct injection technology.

Uni-jet(edc15), make a single injection on cycle,the first tipe of common rail....
multijet(using edc16) make multiple injection...so decrease diesel consumpion, decrease noise and decrease air pollution. do you need anything else to configure controller? i hope with the pin-out of ecu you can set up all... |

The HFS-6 has a unique line for FSi and Diesel with electronic injector. It is the yellow wire on the yellow RJ45 harness.
Since we are detecting the pulse width of injector, it really doesn't matter how many injection events are there per cycle. As I read from other publications, the multi-jet has three injection events, covering idle, light load and full load. I think I have most of the information need to get the system working for your application. I don't have one more question. Can I assume the uni-jet vary the fuel rail pressure. I may need you to locate this signal and feed it to the blue wire of the yellow harness to purpose of full signal integration. I am sure I can find the correct pinout from your previous emails. Other basic connection such as switched +12v (ignition key position#2 - pre-cranking). It would be nice to know which pin of the ECU so that the HFS-6 can get every signal from the ECU. (unfortunately it is in the engine bay rather inside the car). I trust you can splice in the wires and provide some water proofing work afterwards.
