Default 2D install on supercharged MX5

New to the forum. Just purchased a 2D (still to be installed) which came complete with FIA2 + low water float switch + three dash LEDs (pump activation, low water level, water system fault). Two questions: 1. Can anyone (Richard?) tell me if the system as supplied, apart from just activating the warning LED, will also disable the pump in the event of low water level? 2. I would also like to install a manual cut-off switch so that I can disable the system in the winter. I am aware that the switch must be wired to disable power to the relay coil however, being a bit of a klutz where electrics are concerned, can anymone tell me how to connect to the relay?

Q1&A:
When the low water level led activated, it will disable the pump automatically.

Q2&A:
You can use a on/off switch to disconnect the purple wire (from the main harness) so the main relay does not energise.
