Default water methanol dispersion

I'm sorry, but I wasn't sure where I should post this question.
I was wondering if anyone has experimented with allowing the water/methanol mixture to disperse into a larger area to get better distribution between cylinders.

I have 2 questions. Is it a good idea to try something like the WRC cars, as in the picture? (I know they use these volutes for other reasons)

How would I test such a system for effectiveness?
Aside from waiting for one piston ringland to let go, is there a more scientific way to address and test for distribution? I can only think of EGT gauges at each port, which I likely dont have the resources for.

What are your thoughts on the efficacy of this? It seems logical to me to aid in the dispersion of a water/methanol mixture.
