Machined rotors must look mint. Iv seen some scalloped 12a rotors by chip ursu, they were radical, very large, almost into the commutation chambers. Would hold their own as a piece of art work.

Would cool to see how yours compared

The seals are a great piece, some if these soft seals don't make sense to me as they will wear fast, not good for road use, IMO, and won't last very long in race application but that just an opinion. I don't have the means necessary to test them.

Probably a question you won't answer but what are they made of?

I'm thinking iron based maybe, iron is self lubricating, strong but not too brittle, and also won't wear down excessively OR wear the rotor housings....

Well hopefully you will share that eventually.

Have you considered a third spark plug? Or is this simply just not needed with the ignitions available these days, and tune ability with modern ecus

For the third spark plug can only go of Mazda SAE paper on the R26B and there is little power improvement attributed to that configuration, there is a small fuel consumption improvement but only at racing speeds in endurance racing application so for me its not a priority to invest in that extra work, + spark plug costs, let alone hardware to drive it all.

So for that reason I stick with the 2 plug system. I know a few people have tried it but with no real results to speak of, I think cause the gains are around 1~2% region in most cases.

Notice you have it scalloped on the closing edge too maximum inlet.

Don't think I've seen the closing edge done on any other rotors before? Bet their is some serious machine time in them
