Bench test race pump instructions

Ok can someone tell me how to test this pump for Dummies?
It's getting 14 volts to the pump from the loom and on the pump side of the loom as well. It's a 2D system and doesn't make any pressure or priming sounds

Apply 12V across the two outer pins and the un-ground the centre pin. The pump should start to oscillate or prime, if it doesn't, it is dead.
