Default WI error on dyno but not on road!

Hi,
my system is HFS-5 dds3 v8, 2 x 0.5mm.
Any idea why I get WI error (with the wanted boost limiting effect) during dyno pulls, but not on road pulls??
I have plenty of water so it's not a water level issue...
Thank you.

How do you have the gauge spanned (SC setting)? Does it come on at about 2 bars and finish at 6-7 bars at redline?

When does the system failsafe happen, at the start of the pull or the end and what is the gauge reading when it does?

The failsafe happened many times at midrange, around 5000 rpm, when WI is injecting huge quantity...
Yes, bars are still from 2 to 6...
Is there a way to know if failsafe happens for a WL or a WH problem?
Thanks

The WL covers the left 4 bars and the WH the right 4. You would have to see what the unit is displaying when the failsafe trips.

Ok thanks.
Moreover during dyno pulls the WI failsafe comes on and off continuously and intermittently whenthe WI flow is at his max... so maybe is just a too narrow window problem...

Could be the WH needs to be adjusted a little.

Sounds like you don't drive your car hard enough on the road.

As I get errors even at 30% DC and not only at my max DC (70%), is there a logic in the DDS3 that relates flow to DC to understand if there is an error?

Just trying to understand better the system...

Thanks

I'm trying to understand when it is happening. You said above it happens at 5000RPM, but it also occurs at 30% and 70%DC.

It would help to know what the gauge is showing for flow when it is occurring.

Ok...
I don't remember exactly (unfortunately...) what the gauge was showing, but looking at my logs, I realized it happened on full turbo boost from 3500 to 5000 rpm, when WI DC was at 30% and up...

That's why I wanted to understand how the window works... that is to say if the error comes out when a maximum flow is exceeded in spite of the DC, OR the maximum flow is related to that istant DC...

Thanks
