Default WI on a FC RX7 with TMIC @ 300hp?

Hi,

Unable to find much from searching, wondering if anyone has had any experience with WI on an FC RX7 running a TMIC (standard or otherwise) with good results?

My setup is currently running around 300hp at 1 bar of boost (Extend port, knightsports highflow,HKS TMIC) and has the perfect power and response for what I want, but IAT's get crazy after 1 or 2 pulls and have seen as high as 90c after a few corners on track.

I'd love to keep to keep things as they are and avoid going FMIC if possible, but don't want to throw away cash if it's a pointless exercise!

Also I' m happy to run straight water - don't care about more power, just want to get the IAT's down. Car will be used mostly for drifting, with a few hill climbs here and there.

Thanks!
Bry

I suggest you read the entire three stickies on top of this forum section.

Raceracing's type of air assisted spray system will work well spraying into the air filter. Just run water methanol 50:50 by weight.
